Hi, I’m Tami, founder of True Balance Health — and I believe that healing is possible,
because I’ve lived it.
As a registered nurse for 28 years, I’ve seen the gaps in our healthcare system up
close.
But my journey into functional medicine didn’t start in a clinic — it started as a
mom. I was battling my own autoimmune and hormonal issues, while all four of my
kids were facing chronic inflammation and autoimmune challenges. Every doctor
visit ended the same: a prescription and no real answers.I knew God had more for us than symptom management and survival. I began to
pray, dig, and learn — and that pursuit led me to functional medicine.
Since then, I’ve become a certified Health Coach, earned my Master of Science in
Nursing, and am currently completing board certification in functional medicine. But
more than that, I’ve found a way to bring together faith, science, and deep listening
to help women get to the root of their health issues and step into the wholeness God
designed them for.
At True Balance Health, I walk with women who feel dismissed, exhausted, or
overwhelmed. Together, we uncover what’s beneath the surface, create
personalized plans rooted in grace and evidence-based practice, and trust God
